Intercom
Intercom systems allow people from inside premises to speak and see visitors.
Intercom systems can be audio-only or a combination of audio/ video.
Intercom systems are typically interfaced with a front entry door lock, gates barriers.
Once a visitor has been identified the intercom system releases the electric lock to allow entry.
In addition, intercom systems are also interfaced with lift cars such that a visitor is permitted to utilise the lift however can be restricted to the floor level where the visitor needs to go.
This maintains floor security on multiple level buildings where access is not permitted.
